I’m Frederick, the founder of 971pro. My journey into the world of car tuning started back in 2001 with a classic: the Volkswagen G60 engine. This 1.8-liter supercharged powerhouse, paired with its digifant ECU, was where my passion for tuning began.

My adventure took a significant turn when life led me to Dubai, a city known for its love affair with speed and luxury. Here, I honed my skills on a diverse range of vehicles, from high-performance sports cars to elite supercars. Utilizing tools like WinOLS and exploring advanced systems for faster datalogging and live tuning, I expanded my expertise significantly. Our dedication to research and development (R&D) was further solidified when we acquired a 3500whp 4×4 Mustang dyno, propelling our capabilities to new heights.

The next chapter of my journey unfolded in Luxembourg, where I delved into R&D for one of Europe’s most renowned chiptuning tool manufacturers. This role allowed me to work closely on ECU protocols and enhance the user experience for the tuning tool, enriching my knowledge and expertise even further.

With all the insights and experience I’ve gathered over the years, my current mission is to share this wealth of knowledge.
